There is no question that many small cooperating groups have achieved many of their objectives (see the Foundation for Intentional Communities).  Thousands of such communities are actively forming today, all over the world.  This demonstrates a growing societal demand for sustainable communities, and for a sustainable sense of community.

The Live & Grow Community model.

At Live & Grow Communities we believe we have found an approach that is not only sustainable within the communities we create, but will also drive sustainable growth in the surrounding communities.  In other words, we believe our approach is scalable to a degree that will encourage and enable the spread of prosperity through local food, throughout the larger community.

Growing Cooperatives First.

This approach is to form communities with the express purpose of growing abundant, delicious, nutritious fruits and vegetables, as well as carbon-sequestering flora (trees, landscaping plants and flowers) all year round, using the most advanced growing technology available.  Once the growing systems are established, through the direct sale of growing capacity to qualifying citizens, a community of “Harvest Homes” will be built and made available to participating members.

Expressions of Interest for living in a “Greenhouse Residence”.

We seek expressions of interest in our “greenhouse residence” model, from people who wish to live in a community dedicated to growing food year-round, supplying themselves and the larger community, including those with limited access to nutritious fresh fruits and vegetables, earning income from the sale of these products grown in their greenhouses, with their direct participation in a support role. Interested parties can purchase a physical 710 ft² greenhouse, which will generate perpetual income (see  Food Co-op  page), and have the right to acquire the beautiful residence attached, for well below market price.
